Founded by officials from Gannon University, Penn State Erie, and Mercyhurst College, C-Compass is a coalition of campus and community partners committed to fostering a community environment supportive of safe and healthy behavior. The coalition specifically focuses on reducing alcohol and other drug-related problems, underage drinking, and high-risk drinking among college students.

Vision Statement

C-COMPASS (Campus & Community Partners Advocating for Safe StudentS) is coalition dedicated to reducing harm associated with alcohol and other drug use in the Erie community.

We believe that by creating a community environment supportive of safe and healthy behavior, we can significantly reduce alcohol and other drug-related problems. We are particularly committed to reducing underage and high risk drinking among college students. We strive to engage and involve various sectors of the Erie community in our effort to create a healthy environment where neighbors affirm healthy choices, civility, and social responsibility.
