RAMP Promotion
The Responsible Alcohol Management Program (R.A.M.P.) offered by the PA Liquor Control Board (PLCB) is designed to help establishments prevent the sale of alcohol to minors and visibly intoxicated patrons, detect fake identification, and reduce liability.
To become RAMP certified, an establishment must meet the following criteria:
- An owner or manager must complete the Owner/Manager Training
- 50% of the establishment’s alcohol service employees must complete Server/Seller Training
- The establishment must implement New Employee Orientation
- Required Signage must be visibly posted
- The establishment must have a Certification Compliance Visit by an PLCB representative
While most of the components are offered without charge, the Server/Seller Training generally carries a $20-$25 charge per attendee.
